Hi everyone, I'm not necessarily a die-hard football fan, but I managed to gain a lot of interest in the just concluded Brazil 2014 world cup tournament. It came as a shocker to me when I saw the striker Luis Suarez use his teeth on the one of the footballers on the pitch. I really wonder why his teeth was the only weapon that came to his mind to be used against his fellow footballer. I also heard that wasn't the first time he did a thing like that. Please, what's your take on that matter. Some say, it's a mental problem; others say it's a spiritual case that's trying to damage his career. Please let's talk.

#2No one really knows why he does it, but it seems to be out of an act of frustration when he can't get his own way, or things are not going right for him, in all the cases there has been no provocation, he just does it !
Personally I don't think the ban will change him, or stop him doing it, it's part of his psyche to act that way, and nothing will change that.
There is no doubt that he is a great footballer, but as with all great men there has to be a flaw, with others it's alcohol, with Suarez, it's petty violence against other players.Don't Piss People Off On Your Way Up

#3Wow! thanks for your comment. I'm so sorry for the delay in this response. A lot of things actually took over.
Considering your comment, It's however strange to know that he doesn't necessarily use his teeth out of provocation. This to
me, is a very big challenge.
One more thing, If you believe that not even the ban can change him, then obviously, the great striker is going to be in for a big
and bad surprise in his career.
I even heard he has been sold by Liverpool. What do you think this means for him?

#4Let's get real, in the heat of competition a lot of things just happen...
I'm not saying this wasn't wrong of him, and that we should not be punished. Not at all.
But most of use really don't know what is like to be engaged in such a high pressure physical event.
I've been in the middle of Jiu-Jitsu practice once, and I found myself almost biting a dude's leg... I immediately came to my senses and stopped. He was a teammate of mine, and I don't even know if he realised what was happening at all.
Again, not saying it's ok. Not saying this should slide.
But let's not start saying he is this or that. High level competition is a lot to digest...
He this behavious happens more than once though... That's different.
